VDM Responds to Testimony by Precious Chidere Okafor and Calls for Transparent Public DNA Process
Recorded Testimony & Response
My name is Precious Chidere Okafor. I am the daughter of Dr. Chris Okafor.
I left his house around 2020 when I was about 14–15 years old because things were getting out of hand.
He treated me differently from my siblings. On multiple occasions, he locked the door, touched me, and said he wished fathers could marry their daughters.
One night, he almost penetrated me. I was scared, shaking, and eventually left.
I told my mother, and she came to get me.
I have not lived with him since, and my mother has paid my school fees alone.
This call was recorded on December 22nd. DNA testing is now being used as a defense narrative.
Whether or not paternity is disputed, the allegations involve a minor.
This will be addressed publicly, transparently, and with full security.
Peace and love. Don’t play.
On Testimony, Abuse Allegations, and the Limits of Damage Control
The Testimony
Precious Chidere Okafor stated that she lived in the household of 0 until around 2020, when she was approximately 14–15 years old.
In her testimony, she described a pattern of unequal treatment, emotional manipulation, and repeated incidents in which she alleges that Dr. Okafor engaged in inappropriate and sexually abusive conduct while she was a minor.
She further alleged that these incidents occurred behind locked doors, involved coercive physical contact, and culminated in an event she described as an attempted sexual assault.
Disclosure and Exit
According to her account, she eventually disclosed these experiences to her mother using a teacher’s phone. Shortly thereafter, her mother travelled to retrieve her from the household, marking the end of her residence there.
She stated that since leaving, her education and upkeep have been solely funded by her mother, with no sustained contact or support from Dr. Okafor.
Additional Allegations
The testimony further included claims that her mother was assaulted as a minor, at age 15, resulting in pregnancy — an allegation attributed to Dr. Okafor.
These claims remain allegations and are presented here as part of the recorded account, pending investigation and due process.
The DNA Defense Narrative
In response to public scrutiny, DNA testing has been raised as a central defense narrative. According to the testimony, DNA tests have previously been conducted, with results indicating paternity, yet denial allegedly continued publicly.
Call for a Transparent Public Process
Given the use of DNA testing as a public talking point, this statement calls for a transparent, publicly supervised DNA process — conducted in a reputable public hospital, with full documentation, independent oversight, and adequate security.
The presence of relevant parties, including the mother of the children, is expected to ensure procedural integrity.
A Broader Concern
This case raises wider concerns about how positions of spiritual authority can be abused to manipulate, silence, or exploit vulnerable individuals seeking validation, protection, or survival.
The intention is not sensationalism, but accountability.
Statement Summary
This statement documents and responds to a detailed testimony given by Precious Chidere Okafor, who identifies herself as the daughter of Dr. Chris Okafor. The testimony contains serious allegations of abuse, coercion, and long-term mistreatment occurring during her time as a minor.
The statement addresses the use of DNA testing as a public defense narrative, challenges the moral implications regardless of biological ties, and calls for a transparent, publicly supervised process that prioritizes truth, accountability, and the protection of vulnerable persons.
