People keep calling VeryDarkMan demonic, evil, wicked, jealous, envious. But it always comes with truth — and everybody knows it.
No matter the accusations, you cannot skip the video. You can insult, cry, accuse — you will still sit down and watch.
Harrison Gwamnishu made his first post. He said he was neither invited nor arrested, and that he voluntarily presented himself for investigation. He said he had not been charged.
This is where the problem starts. I don’t like lies. I don’t like damage control.
So let me read the charges for you.
High Court of Justice, Edo State. Criminal Motion 2025. Commissioner of Police versus Harrison Gwamnishu.
Charge one: obtaining ₦5.4 million under false pretence. Charge two: cybercrime offences. Charge three: causing the continuing kidnap of Zagiru Ibrahim.
These are serious charges. The judge exercised discretion.
You said you walked in voluntarily — so why didn’t you walk out?
Anything you say, I will counter with facts. Nigerians know this.
My job is not to jail people. My job is to put a permanent doubt in your character.
We have not even started. This is just the beginning.

VDM’s Position on Allegations, Truth, and Accountability
No matter the accusations or narratives pushed, one fact remains unchanged — people cannot skip the evidence. You may insult, cry, or accuse, but the video will still be watched. That is the law of public accountability.
Harrison Gwamnishu’s Statement
Harrison Gwamnishu made his first public post following the incident, stating that he was neither invited nor arrested, and that he voluntarily presented himself for investigation. He further claimed that he had not been charged, stating that the matter was still under review by the Directorate of Public Prosecution.
This is where the problem begins.
The Issue With Damage Control
VDM rejects lies and damage control. Once a claim is made publicly, it must withstand factual verification. In response to Harrison’s statement, VDM presented official court documents detailing multiple criminal charges.
Criminal Motion, 2025
Complainant: Commissioner of Police
Defendant: Harrison Gwamnishu (35 years)
Summary of Charges
- Charge One: Obtaining ₦5.4 million under false pretence relating to ransom payments, contrary to the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006.
- Charge Two: Offences under the Cybercrimes Act of Nigeria, 2023.
- Charge Three: Causing the continuing kidnap of Zagiru Ibrahim, punishable under the Edo State Kidnapping Prohibition Amendment Law.
These are serious criminal allegations. The presiding judge, Honourable Justice Etinosa, exercised discretion despite a request by the prosecution for a six-month remand.
Facts Over Narratives
Harrison claimed he walked in voluntarily. The obvious question remains: if that were the case, why did he not walk out?
VDM reiterates that his role is not to jail individuals. His role is to expose what he calls the “truth hole” — a permanent doubt created when facts contradict personal narratives.
The Pattern of Public Accountability
History has shown that after the noise fades, the truth remains. Past cases involving public figures eventually confirmed VDM’s assertions months later. Integrity, once proven repeatedly, becomes undeniable.
Statement Summary
This statement addresses persistent accusations labeling VeryDarkMan as jealous, wicked, or envious, while reinforcing the consistent pattern that his commentary is grounded in verifiable facts. It examines Harrison Gwamnishu’s public claim that he was never charged, contrasts it with official court documents, and outlines the specific charges brought against him.
The statement reaffirms VDM’s approach: countering narratives with documented evidence, exposing inconsistencies, and ensuring that once a matter becomes public, it remains subject to public scrutiny. It concludes with a reminder that truth, once revealed, cannot be undone by noise, pressure, or damage control.
